Liz Griswold is a Project Manager at Ashton Design with a career built on a genuine love for experiential design, and the people, places, and stories it brings to life.

She has spent her career working at the intersection of design, strategy, and community. Whether leading EGD markets at architecture firms where she directed award winning projects, curating programming and education for SEGD as the Director of Education and Experience (2022-2026); or managing projects at Ashton Design, Liz brings the same approach to everything: stay curious, keep things moving, and make sure the work actually means something.

Deeply invested in the EGD community beyond her day-to-day work, Liz co-founded the SEGD Raleigh Chapter in 2017 where she served as co-chair for six years, co-chaired the SEGD Emerging Experiential Professionals for several years, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Sign Research Foundation (SRF), as the 2026 Secretary/Treasurer.

Liz has developed multiple AIA accredited presentations focusing on the field of experiential graphic design and enjoys participating as a guest speaker, mentor and portfolio reviewer through various organizations and academic programs. She holds a B.S. in Graphic Arts from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, with a minor in English and a concentration in Public Relations.
