Kyle Richter

Kyle Richter is a Principal and the San Clemente Studio Director at RSM Design, a world-class multidisciplinary design studio focusing on creating experiential architecture, branding, signage, wayfinding, spatial and placemaking graphics. At RSM Design our core focus is to craft experiences that enrich the visitor’s sense of place and experience through the spaces to create memorable moments through placemaking that will enhance the visitors experience.
As a leader and designer through the past 18 years at RSM Design and in the industry, Kyle Richter helps direct many of RSM Design’s large-scale projects, including mixed-use, retail, universities, life science and unique project types such as resorts, entertainment and parks. From the initial vision and branding phases through built environment implementation, he is involved in each step of the process. Kyle has been involved in many of the firm’s most ambitious and award-winning projects throughout the years.
He plays a key leadership role within RSM Design and, utilizing his design background, creativity and management skills to work with the team and clients to develop successful solutions to the unique challenges of each project and relate it back to the context, culture and community. Kyle has a passion for design that drives my creativity to create great spaces, memorable moments and wayfinding systems to invite the guest to linger and find their destination easily.
He is also an active member of the Society of Experiential Graphic Designers (SEGD) and ICSC organizations . Kyle earned a Bachelor of Graphic Design degree from the Art Institute of California – OC and an Associate degree in Photography.
