Endlessly curious multidisciplinary designer, artist, and maker working across spatial design, visual communication, interactive experiences, and fabrication.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in Fort Worth, Texas. Through Clear & West, a small design-build studio I co-founded, I work on architectural design, spatial planning, drawing development, and client coordination. My broader practice includes creative direction, graphic design, interactive media, fabrication, sculpture and installation art. After more than two decades in entertainment and brand design within Sony Pictures Entertainment’s anime business, I’m now bringing those experiences and my work as an artist together as I move into exhibition and experiential design. In addition I’m a working fine artist, having exhibited internationally in museums, galleries and public spaces. I also run Generally Speaking, a recently launched independent publishing imprint through which I released my book Operators. Outside of work I love traveling, hand painted signs and tinkering with pinball machines.

What I love about experience design
I love seeing people experience, interact with, and have an emotional response to work I’ve helped create. It’s the strongest reminder of why every project demands thoughtful care and consideration.
Best piece of advice I've ever heard
Never trust an artist without a day job.
