Katherine Kwan works for LA Metro managing signage and environmental graphic design transit infrastructure development projects. She is currently working on the highly anticipated Airport Metro Connector project and is heading up a 5-year systemwide expansion signage impacts effort.
Katherine has 19 years of working experience in the architecture and environmental graphic design industry. She loves a good challenge, and the synergy that comes from working with collaborators. Her experience includes strategic planning to hands-on project implementation for large scale international developments, exhibit design, higher education, health care, transit, mixed-used and hospitality projects.
Katherine has previously taught at Art Center College of Design, and holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Art Center College of Design with a split concentration in graphic design and environmental design.
