I’m a senior graphic designer and art director with roots in museum interpretive design, publications, and expertise in award-winning university advancement. I specialize in environmental storytelling, donor communications, and work that connects people to culture, science, and nature. I design for organizations that inspire – whether it’s philanthropic campaigns that fund student dreams, interpretive signage that sparks curiosity, or publications that build lasting connections with the community.
Currently at Colorado State University Advancement, leading creative strategy for major gift campaigns, alumni engagement, and institutional storytelling. I serve on the Public Art Committee and have designed experiential graphics for campus buildings, donor recognition installations, and brand environments. Earlier in my career, I designed and installed interpretive signage at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
What drives me: Projects with purpose. Organizations that celebrate art, science, nature, and culture. Work that moves people – from awareness to discovery to action.

Ask me about

Using design thinking in fundraising campaigns, environmentals and branding on university campuses, donor recognition, high-level event experientials and branding, magazine and storytelling graphic design, art direction for photoshoots, graphic design, or illustration. Strategic considerations for long-term, executive-level projects, building creative teams.

My super power is

My superpower is my ability to rapidly ideate and prototype ideas, and to take those ideas and deliver. If I find significance in what I am creating, I can usually use my powers of persuasion to win others over to work alongside me.

I'm looking for

Opportunities to learn more about museum-quality environmental and experiential graphic design. I’m looking for a community who I can build upon.

What I love about experience design

I love seeing how other designers use environmental and experiential graphic design to engage, inspire, and delight audiences of all ages. I love exploring new museums and interpretive cultural spaces (and re-exploring those spaces for things I’ve missed) and introducing them to friends and family. I love how, when you unplug from digital devices, intentionally put down your phone, and pay attention to your surroundings, your experience becomes richer. I still love technology, but I prefer to choose to use it to enhance my experience, not as a barrier.

Best piece of advice I've ever heard

“She’s just a person like you and me.” – colleague when I was getting nervous about pitching a branding concept to the president of our university.
