Jim Alderman is a senior designer in Gresham, Smith and Partners’ Environmental Graphics Design group. With more than 30 years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of branding, wayfinding, and environmental graphics programs, Jim Alderman has served a broad range of client types including public and educational facilities, airports, sports venues, healthcare facilities, retail environments, and corporate offices. Jim Alderman’s portfolio includes design work for the National Institutes of Health, Nissan North America, Inc., Vanderbilt University, and multiple airports including Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, and Atlanta.
Married and the father of two boys, Jim Alderman worked as a professional drummer in a previous life and is still living the dream with several local bands in the new “it” city: Nashville.
