Huiwon Lim

Huiwon Lim is an assistant professor in the Department of Graphic Design at Penn State University. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic design, a graduate certificate in Human-Computer Interaction, and a Master of Arts in Environmental Graphic Design from Iowa State University. His interdisciplinary research focuses on data visualization to enhance community engagement, user experience, and human wellness as an extension of graphic design practice and a creative form. One of his interdisciplinary research projects was rewarded as a winner of the Next Work Environment Competition organized by Work Design Magazine in 2020. He is currently a member of AIGA, SEGD, and UCDA.
