What I love about experience design

The experiential design industry has ignited my passion for balancing utility and function with artistic expression. As a creative, I find satisfaction and purpose in using my design skills to solve problems augment the experience of place. Nothing matches the feeling of knowing my design work has a tangible and positive impact. I love that I am always learning while engaging in this work. From different types of materials to how to read building codes, bylaws, and plans, I have learned so much more than I ever expected before entering this field. I’ve learned that asking questions is only a boon to my ability to design. I appreciate all the knowledge my colleagues have shared with me, and I am excited to continue uncovering more knowledge as I grow in my career.
