Grant Cooper

Grant Cooper is a principal at Urban Information, a specialist consultancy that advises on information in the urban environment. He believes how we communicate to customers and the people who use our spaces is vitally important to their overall user experience.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Grant helps clients define the best methods to communicate their information in their spaces and then manages the project’s implementation from concept to delivery.
Grant Cooper is a results-driven manager with the ability to deliver complex information, branding, and infrastructure projects on time and consistently on budget whilst managing a successful integrated team. With more than 13 years experience in a government environment, he has managed more than $20 million in projects on behalf of the Victorian government. He has extensive experience in stakeholder management and engagement across federal, state and local government, statutory authorities, community groups, and commercial enterprises. Grant also has developed significant skills in contractor and contracts management and negotiation.
In addition to his work with Urban Information, Grant Cooper has served as a board director for A is for Atlas—a not-for-profit, inter-arts production and development company—since 2006.
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, SEGD, and the Sign Design Society.
