David Schwarz is a design industry leader and founding partner of HUSH, a design agency.

David has spent nearly 20 years leading the design of brand experiences that integrate spatial design and sustainable materials, creative technology, interactivity and data. These meticulously designed and sequenced experiences – commercial placemaking, branded spaces, corporate architecture, transportation hubs, exhibitions, public art and cultural environments – are three-dimensional expressions of an organization’s culture, products, and its highest-order messages.

David has led C-suite presentations and workshops with complex stakeholders, and driven the strategy and creative direction for clients across real estate, mobility, technology, sport, luxury and entertainment categories, most notably for: Equinox, Uber, Nike, Google, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Mastercard, Sonos, LinkedIn, Related, Vornado, among others.

David frequently shares his point of view in the media via writing, podcasts, panels and keynotes, seeking to engage in critical dialogue about design evolution and building a creative organization. David has been featured in Forbes, Creativity, Fast Company, Dezeen, designboom, Design Milk, Archinect, Inc. Magazine, Huffington Post, Communication Arts, CMO Magazine, among others, and has spoken at events and podcasts for NYCxDesign, AIGA, The One Show, CODASummit, Clever, DesignWanted, SEGD, SXSW, Design Week, Cannes Lions, FITC, the Columbia School of Architecture, among others.

David Schwarz is also a mentor at New, Inc. — the New Museum’s incubator program for art, technology, and design — where he’s had the fortune to work with incredibly talented start-up creative businesses poised to change the world.
