“You sure are handy to have around, Cory. You’re a good potato.”
I care about successful design, substantial ideas, and inclusivity. I co-curated an exhibit about food at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, currently on view. Before that, I created an exhibit of war-era food posters at the National Agricultural Library. I spent many semesters teaching exhibition design at GW’s Corcoran College of Art + Design. Currently, I am designing an exhibition at the DC History Center about the fight for equal access to education in the nation’s capitol.

My super power is
I am a hybrid person! I am a graphic designer and mural painter with precision hand skills, but also a very brainy curator-type who feels at home in the role of a college professor or working with cultural organizations and helping them “think through their thinking.”
