Ochsner Health is Louisiana’s largest non-profit healthcare system, with over 46 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Gulf South. Ochsner’s Built Environment Studio bridges the gap between the built environment and the needs of patients, employees, and visitors to create a calm, comfortable, and confident experience for all users.

Britnee’s team owns and maintains Ochsner’s system signage standards, wayfinding methodology, and signage asset management system with a goal of creating a consistent user experience throughout the entire healthcare system. As part of the Built Environment Studio, Britnee is responsible for managing the planning, programming, production, and installation of signage for various projects, including new builds, expansions, and retrofits. Over the past years, she has developed and implemented processes throughout the healthcare system to ensure that signage and wayfinding methodologies in the built environment follow system signage standards and best practices. Her work showcases her strategic approach to enhance the user experience in Ochsner’s built environment.

Her current focus is to drive her team to develop expertise in placemaking and experiential design.
