Ashley Gomez

Ashley (Shoemaker) Gomez is a Nashville-based Graphic Designer, who currently works at McCoy Design, a boutique experiential design firm. She specializes in designing unique signage and wayfinding solutions for various clients in the hospitality, healthcare, education, and multi-family sectors.
Ashley is a versatile Graphic Designer having designed everything from print, logos, and magazines to murals and signage. She has high attention to detail and amazing organizational savvy. Her creative problem-solving enables her fast and accurate production skills. Always a quick study, Ashley enjoys mastering new challenges.
Being able to take her creativity, passion for learning new techniques, and desire to share great design with the world and turn that into a rewarding career is her dream come true. She’s always loved the saying “Do what you love. Love what you do.” That’s the life she wants to live.
Ashley earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design from Virginia Tech, where she learned the basics of design, but has built upon that in the 10+ years since. But she’s more than just a graphic designer. She’s also an avid reader, a passionate embroidery artist, a small business owner, a mom to three energetic (and also incredibly lazy) pets, a die-hard Hokie, a crazy hockey fan, and an addict of really bad TV.
