Anne Quito is a journalist and design critic whose writing appears in The Atlantic, Quartz, CNN, Metropolis, Fast Company, Architectural Digest, and other publications. She wrote the book Mag Men: Fifty Years of Making Magazines (Columbia University Press, 2019) and is among the hosts of the podcast Print is Dead, Long Live Print!. Anne currently teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York and at Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering. She is the first recipient of the Steven Heller Prize for Cultural Commentary.
Anne is a member of the International Association of Art Critics (Association Internationale des Critiques d’Art, AICA), the International Banknote Society, the North American Vexillological Association, and a new member of SEGD.
