Angela Serravo is a Principal Partner/Lead Designer at Tangram Design, a Colorado Chapter Chair with the Society of Environmental Graphic Design, and an active volunteer in her local community.
Tangram is a leading, creative design firm whose design focus is the practice of environmental graphic design – a discipline that involves the planning and design of signage and wayfinding systems. With roots that stem from traditional graphic design, Tangram also offers quality brand/identity, publication, print design, and digital media services.
As an award-winning designer and expert in environmental graphic design, Angela has created, managed and maintained a broad array of project types and clientele throughout her career. Angela’s expertise related to environmental graphic design includes detailed research, project analysis, concise documentation, graphic design sensibilities and effective and conceptual design solutions that communicate the mission and values of each project.
Her experience includes designing and implementing branded wayfinding signage systems and programming for airports, universities, municipalities, mixed-use/retail environments, transit stations and parks. She has also developed several extensive cultural, environmental and context-sensitive interpretive and educational projects and authored many master plans and graphic/signage design standards and guidelines documents.
Angela serves as a Colorado Chapter Chair for the Society of Environmental Graphic Design – an organization that governs the environmental graphic design profession to promote, foster, and define the discipline. In this role, she plans and moderates a monthly design forum that focuses on design/industry issues.
With a genuine desire to make a difference in the world, Angela participates in a youth mentoring program that aims to empower at risk youths to graduate high school with a meaningful life plan for future academic and/or career success.
