Amy Rees is an active SEGD member, serving as a Philadelphia Chapter Co-Chair and Wayfinding and Experiential Graphics Professional Practice Group co-chair. She has previously volunteered as a member of the Academic Task Force and as a conference co-chair.
As a Partner/Studio Director at Exit Design, Amy leads her team in all aspects of their creative process from start to finish. An incisive and award-winning designer, she develops innovative solutions that impact the visitor experience in tangible, meaningful ways.
With over two decades in the industry serving a diverse client base, Amy has managed multi-disciplinary teams to create large-scale, high-profile projects. She is known for delivering exceptional results on schedule and within budget while establishing and nurturing lasting customer relationships.
Before joining Exit Design, Amy Rees held leadership positions at UJMN Architects (now Strada), Hillier Architecture, and a+b Studios. She is actively engaged in the education of future designers, serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Drexel University, where she received her BS in Graphic Design. She has also taught at Philadelphia University and the University of the Arts and has mentored countless students across design disciplines and been active in developing and delivering extensive coursework, focusing on professional communications, graphic design, and environmental graphic design.
