Currently Director of Content and Strategy at Local Projects, New York, Amanda White has 18 years’ experience leading content development for design. Prior to her current role, Amanda spent two years consulting to the United Nations as a Creative Director, following seven years as content lead at Thinc Design, New York. Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, she was Head of Content at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland Museum.
Amanda’s expertise is in the combination of inspirational team leadership, lateral thinking, strategic planning, and creative methodologies that she brings to all projects, transforming concepts into impactful experiences for visitor engagement. Throughout her career she has prioritized community collaboration as a vital component of the design process, and pursued methodologies for engaging, inspiring, and mobilizing people to action.
