Alexis Agoustari is a Designer at Kate Keating Associates who has a formal education in both art history and design, she is particularly passionate about projects that connect people to place. As a young designer Alexis Agoustari works efficiently in a myriad of programs including the Adobe suite to bring schematic concepts to final installation and offer a fresh eye for graphic composition and innovative materiality.
In her role as a designer at Kate Keating Associates, Alexis Agoustari, designs systems of site-responsive signage, wayfinding, and placemaking. She works continuously through all phases of a project scope including: schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. She also collaborates closely with project managers, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, clients, and other team consultants.
Before working as a Designer at Kate Keating Associates Alexis Agoustari had an internship with Richardson Architects. As one of their summer interns she utilized Vectorworks and SketchUp to make and edit schematic drawings and renderings, learned about site-specific and client-oriented architectural design, and organized, filed, and completed day-to-day tasks around the office.
