Aleczandria (Alec) Quinn
I'm currently getting my masters degree at The George Washington University for Museum Studies with a concentration in Exhibitions & Visitor experience.
Member Since
I received my bachelors degree in Paleontology at Appalachian State University while working as an museum outreach intern for the school museum. During this internship I gained a love and creative intuition for designing and creating museum exhibits. I also gained skills in adobe illustrator, 3D printing and fossil molding and casting. As a paleontology major I gained skills in site excavation, fossil preparation, fossil collection, fossil/rock/mineral ID, geological mapping, research methods and scientific writing. Now I’m excited to enter my next stage in life as a graduate student at The George Washington University for Museum Studies with a concentration in Exhibitions & Visitor experience. My hope is to someday combine my passion for science and design to create eye opening museum exhibits.
