After earning a Master’s degree in Intermedia Art from Tokyo University of the Arts, I began my career at the Tokyo-based fashion house Comme des Garçons, where I worked across multiple creative disciplines including store graphics, product design, apparel design, and printed materials. This early experience shaped my multidisciplinary approach to design and brand expression.
I later joined Gensler’s Tokyo office, where I contributed to numerous Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) and branding projects across workplace, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. My work focused on translating brand narratives into spatial experiences, integrating visual identity, environmental graphics, and architectural context.
Following this period, I led a range of independent branding and communication design initiatives, including corporate identity development, digital platforms, and video production for various organizations.
After returning to Gensler Tokyo, I continue to work at the intersection of branding, architecture, and experience design. My work spans naming strategy, visual identity systems, and environmental graphics for office towers, hospitality destinations, and mixed-use commercial developments, with a focus on creating cohesive brand ecosystems that connect architecture, culture, and place.
Ask me about
How can branding and architecture work together to create meaningful spatial experiences?
My super power is
Connecting brand strategy and spatial design to create coherent and memorable environments.
I'm looking for
Connections with designers working across branding, architecture, and experiential design, as well as opportunities to collaborate on projects that shape cities and cultural destinations.
What I love about experience design
I love the moment when strategy becomes tangible—when a brand story is translated into space, materials, graphics, and movement, creating an experience people can actually feel.
Best piece of advice I've ever heard
“Focus on your work and keep moving forward.”
