SignAgent Introduces AI Translation Tool for Multilingual Signage

SignAgent has launched an AI translation tool for multilingual signage. This new feature gives project teams a faster way to create and manage messages in several languages. It works inside SignAgent’s cloud-based signage and wayfinding platform. Therefore, users can reduce copying between outside translation tools and project files.

Teams can add a secondary language and select the message fields that need translation. SignAgent then creates suggested text for those fields. However, each suggestion remains marked for review before it is approved for production. SignAgent also notes that automatic translations are not perfect. Teams should verify all translated content before implementation.

The tool includes a confidence score, individual and bulk approval options, and editable text. As a result, teams can quickly identify translations that may need closer review. They can also adjust approved wording to meet local language, brand, or regulatory needs.

In addition, the suggestions consider signage and wayfinding terminology. This added context may help teams create more useful translations for complex sign systems.

“Creating multilingual sign content is time-consuming. We’ve integrated AI translation suggestions into SignAgent to streamline the design process while keeping review and approval checks in place,” said David Jorritsma, President at SignAgent. The feature keeps translation work within the same platform used to manage sign messages and assets.

This approach can support clearer workflows for designers, facility owners, fabricators, and other project partners. SignAgent serves organizations in more than 30 countries and helps them manage complex signage systems at scale.
