SEGD London Chapter Hosts Spring Symposium in Dublin

The SEGD London Chapter hosted Designing Dublin: A Two-Day Exploration of Architecture & Innovation. The Spring Symposium brought members to Dublin for an engaging look at architecture, innovation, and design thinking.
Day One: Georgian Dublin Tour and Evening Gathering
The first day began with a walking tour of Georgian Dublin, led by local guide Arran Henderson. Attendees explored the city’s historic architecture and streets. The group then enjoyed fish and chips from Leo Burdock, a well-known Dublin eatery. The evening ended at The Lord Edward pub for relaxed networking and conversation.
Day Two: Insightful Talks on Past and Future Design
The second day started at the Irish Georgian Society. Charles Duggan of Dublin City Council gave a talk on Dublin’s architectural and social history. Jessie Bailey and Michelle Mateus of Electrosonic followed with a look into immersive design’s future. Their presentation highlighted how technology is reshaping storytelling in public spaces.
