Media–Objectives has expanded its leadership team, announced Principal and Founder, Joe Lawton. The ﬁrm recently hired Daniel Meeker to serve as the team’s Senior Managing Director. Meeker joins Lawton and Studio Director, Amanda Jurmu, in leading M-O as the studio approaches its tenth anniversary. Theleadership team is supported by Senior Designers Allison Rokusek and Cody Hartleben, and Marketing Manager, Alexa Chmura.
Daniel Meeker, AIA, SEGD, brings more than 25 years of practical and professional experience in the ﬁelds ofdesign and design management, with expertise on experience design, visual communications, and graphic design focused on the built environment.
As a Senior Managing Director, in addition to strategic planning for the studio, he will provide project management and creative direction.
Amanda Jurmu, AIGA, SEGD, has been with the ﬁrm since 2017. Promoted to Studio Director in 2021, she is a key member of M–O’s leadership team and collaborates closely on the overall vision, process,standards and strategy for the studio, in addition to project direction from conceptualization to execution.
Allison Rokusek, AIGA, SEGD, joined the ﬁrm in 2017 and was promoted to Senior Designer in 2022. Allisonis committed to creating enriching user experiences through impactful gestures and subtle details.
Cody Hartleben, AIGA, joined the ﬁrm in 2020 and was promoted to Senior Designer in 2022. He uses his background in brand design in print, digital, and physical environments to lead project creative direction on a variety of project types.
Alexa Chmura joined the ﬁrm in 2020 and was promoted to Marketing and Communications Manager in 2022. Using her education background in ﬁne art and graphic design, and professional background inmarketing, Alexa leads the marketing and communications team.
Joe Lawton, AIGA, SEGD, joined the ﬁrm in 2010 and two years later founded M-O. As principal, Joe manages all client relationships, guides the M–O’s strategy and vision, and provides management and creative direction on the studio’s work.
Media–Objectives (M–O), founded in 2012, is an experiential design studio housed within architecture and interior design ﬁrm, Valerio Dewalt Train. M–O has a multidisciplinary focus with designers from various backgrounds working on projects ranging from brand identity, to experiential graphics, wayﬁnding, exhibit and website design. M-O has been recognized by awards programs such as Fast Company, Interior DesignMagazine, Architizer, SEGD, AIGA, Core 77, and IIDA.
