Nice Shoes Celebrates Cotton Fever Wins at Tribeca 2026

Nice Shoes is celebrating a strong showing at the Tribeca Film Festival 2026, with five films featured in this year’s programming. The standout: Cotton Fever, colored by Nice Shoes Senior Colorist Marcy Robinson, won two major awards at the festival.

Cotton Fever received the Founders Award for Best U.S. Narrative Feature and Best Cinematography in a U.S. Narrative Feature. The film was directed by Daniel Blake Schwartz, with cinematography by Tom Acton Fitzgerald. Tribeca’s awards announcement recognized the film as a world premiere and honored Fitzgerald for its cinematography.

Nice Shoes shared its pride in helping bring the film to the festival screen. The recognition highlights the important role color and post-production play in shaping the final emotional tone of a film.

In addition to Cotton Fever, Nice Shoes contributed to four other projects in the festival lineup. Robinson also colored threeASFOUR: Full Circle, directed by Sean Ono Lennon with Brian Gonzalez as director of photography; Never Change!, directed by Marty Schousboe with cinematography by Matt Clegg; and Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story, directed by Jyllian Gunther and Stephanie Schwam, with cinematography by Eric Arthur Fernandez.

New Nice Shoes colorist Allie Ames also brought her color work to Mario, directed by Peter Kunhardt, George Kunhardt, and Teddy Kunhardt, with cinematography by Bill Winters.

Together, these projects show the range of Nice Shoes’ creative work across narrative film, documentary storytelling, fashion, comedy, and cultural history. From award-winning drama to bold documentary work, Nice Shoes continues to support filmmakers with craft, care, and visual storytelling.
