Entro recently contributed a thoughtful signage and wayfinding program for Boston University’s Duan Family Center for Computing & Data Sciences. Designed by KPMB Architects, the new academic building stands out for its bold, stacked-block form—a visual reference to a stack of books—while also serving as a model for sustainability and collaboration.

Located along the Charles River, the center houses programs focused on computing and data science and brings together students, faculty, and researchers in a highly flexible and modern space. The building represents a shift from Boston University’s traditional brick style, offering a forward-looking presence on campus.

Entro’s signage program was developed to complement the building’s clean, geometric design. The system helps guide visitors while supporting the building’s architectural intent and academic purpose. Through subtle materials and clear visual language, the signage integrates seamlessly with the center’s interior and exterior spaces.

This project reflects Entro’s ongoing commitment to designing with purpose, creating user-centered experiences that support learning and connection in higher education environments.
