Dimensional Innovations Hires Visionary Expert Paula Bolton Neston to Lead Cultural Design Team
Neston joins the Kansas City-based experience design leader, bringing a track record of bold, imaginative work in museums and entertainment spaces

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – June 12, 2025 – Dimensional Innovations (DI), a leading experience design, technology and fabrication firm, is pleased to announce the hiring of Paula Bolton Neston, an exhibit design professional, as its Cultural Practice Executive. Neston has joined the organization to drive growth and operational excellence in its pursuits of museum, zoo and similar cultural projects. This includes leading its practice strategy, managing client relationships and overseeing project execution – all while the firm continues to deliver one-of-a-kind user experiences across a wide variety of venues and spaces.
Neston brings more than 27 years of design and fabrication experience in the museum and themed attraction space, grounded in transparency and collaboration. A graduate of the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), she has partnered with designers and institutions to bring to life exhibits, museums, visitor centers and immersive experiences across the country. Most recently, Neston served as Technical Design Director at Cinnabar California, where she blended creativity with precision to ensure every project was cohesive, visually compelling and expertly built. Her standout work includes “The Secret Life of Pets” attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood, the Entertainment Nationexhibit at the National Museum of American History, and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
“Dimensional Innovations is guided by a singular focus: reimagining the way users interact with any designed space,” said Neston. “Not only does DI bring value to any project it engages in, but the nature of this work creates an environment of perpetual learning, which is simply invaluable. DI’s team – a unique blend of industry experts – can creatively collaborate with clients and partners and generate stellar results. I could not be more excited to join the team.”
Neston joins a multidisciplinary team of more than 230 experts whose work spans storytelling, strategy, technology and fabrication. From immersive museum exhibits to large-scale architectural features, DI’s work brings bold ideas to life. These include honoring legacies at the Naval Academy and shaping the fan experience at both SoFi Stadium and Intuit Dome. The team brings a deep understanding of experience design to every project.
“Bringing Paula on board was an easy decision – her expertise in cultural design will amplify the high-level service our clients expect,” said Tucker Trotter, CEO of Dimensional Innovations. “She brings a builder’s mindset and a fearless approach to pushing creative boundaries. We’re excited for the originality and energy she’ll bring to every project.”
Neston, who will begin her work with DI immediately, complements a culture and museum team that counts The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum and the Evel Knievel Museum among its active clients, with the American Royal project also in progress, among others.
