Altitude Design Office Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary
The firm has grown from a single practitioner to a nationwide team with a broad range of design expertise and experience.
Altitude Design Office is celebrating ten years of award-winning work, bringing brands to life in a variety of places across the United States. The firm was founded in 2014 by SEGD Professional Member Greg Nelson and has grown to a nationwide team of designers who have created award-winning brand experiences, wayfinding programs, architectural graphics and brand identities for a wide range of spaces and places including performing arts centers, hotels and resorts, hospitals, corporate campuses, restaurants and residential communities.
After many years of working inside large architecture firms, Nelson—who owns Altitude and serves as its principal and creative director—was motivated to build a firm focused on client service. “Our work, at its heart, is about meaning and message, and I believe we can deliver the most meaningful work when we have a direct line to our clients and a firsthand understanding of what really matters to them,” said Nelson.
