Origin Story:
43Places was originally founded by Steven Johnson as a way to focus intentionally on doing good work with good people for good reasons. Established with a foundation of architecture, branding, and sustainability, 43Places is built around the idea of bringing really great design to more people and more places. And doing it in innovative and responsible ways.

Team:
Intentionally made up of fantastically unique backgrounds, our team has deeply rich creative conversations and client relationships. This allows us to collaborate and work in more meaningful ways.
Our team has over 25 years of design experience specializing in Brand Identity, Branded Environments, Signage + Wayfinding, Placemaking, and Interactive Design. We also have over 30 years of Project Management, Systems, Operations, and Client Relationships experience.

Impact:
We lead with sustainability and empathy and look to create places that mean something to somebody; that are both special and will outlast us, our children, and our children’s children.
