SEGD Riga Chapter | Design & Wellbeing

A get-together to reflect on the past year and celebrate the launch of the 2026 Calendar.

Created in close collaboration with the philosopher Igors Gubenko and children psychiatrist Nikita Bezborodovs, the calendar invites us to reflect on mental health over the next 12 months.

There are no other questions that allow such an extreme coexistence of diametrically opposed views as questions about mental health.

Am I normal? What even is “normal”? Why is life so damn hard? Do we necessarily have to suffer?…

This calendar is a psychiatrist’s and a philosopher’s attempt to find comfort in the grains of thought left by wiser people.

The calendar will be presented by Igors Gubenko, Nikita Bezborodovs and designers Ingūna Elere and Ieva Timosko.

The event will take place at Design Studio H2E
