We will meet outside of the main entrance at 5:00. We will be heading inside for entry into the exhibit at 5:10 promptly.

VMFA Giants + Holiday Happy Hour

We hope you can join the SEGD Richmond Chapter for a walk through the Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys show at the VMFA, followed by a holiday happy hour at the Best Cafe.

We will be walking through the exhibit as a group, but since we will not be having a guided tour please feel free to peruse the information generously provided by the VMFA: An attached Educator’s Resource pdf contains links to interviews with some artists. Along with their YouTube page here, which has recordings of interviews with artists, lectures, tours, and events that have happened at VMFA in the past. There is quite a bit of information about some of the artists in Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys.

There is a single discounted price of $10 for both SEGD members and non-members – all are welcome! We are limited to 20 tickets, so please register quickly. Depending on interest we may be able to secure additional tickets. Tickets sales close Wednesday November 26th.
