Join artist Jody Graff to create your own quilt collage artwork

Join artist Jody Graff to create your own quilt collage artwork using provided natural materials [leaves]. A brief overview introduces artists who use botanicals and the process of collecting and pressing botanicals. The hands-on process includes sketching at small scale, cut-paper compositions at full scale, selecting leaves, cutting botanicals for a selected composition, and finally gluing everything down into a finished artwork. The skills learned will allow participants to create future artworks using materials collected in their own yard, garden, local spot, or travel destination.

SEGD Philadelphia is excited to bring our community together for an afternoon of making, learning, and connecting! Whether you work in experiential design, graphic design, architecture, interiors, or just love getting your hands into something creative, we’d love to have you join us.
