SEGD Boston | ‘Stab and Schmear’ with Alexandra Adamo, Owner of Alex Makes Art, at Thayer Academy

SEGD Meets Alex Makes Art for a bespoke craft making event at Thayer Academy’s Karen and Ted Koskores Gallery.

Join us 2/15 at 10:30am for our first weekend/friends and family event. Guests will tour the newly unveiled exhibition Interwoven: Fibers & Findings that Bind Community, meet artist Alexandra Adamo and join her for a morning felting workshop (the stab) as we nosh (the schmear!).

Alexandra Adamo is a mixed-media artist and educator with a knack for bringing creativity to life in unexpected ways. She has exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, works in the fibers department at MassArt, and collaborates with Harvard and MIT’s Open Space Programs, as well as dozens of local libraries and youth centers on the regular. Known for designing intergenerational crafting experiences that are as unique as her students, Alex transforms every space she visits into a playground for imagination and artistic exploration.

To register for this event, please use the EventBrite link. Tickets are donation based and will cover the cost of materials supplied by the host.
