Join us 10/9 for an evening of inspiration and connection at ICA Boston and Marcelino’s Seaport

Join us for an evening of inspiration and connection at SEGD Boston Chapter | ICA Tour & Hidden Battles, a special gathering at the Institute of Contemporary Art on 10/9 at 5:30pm. Together we will tour the museum’s current exhibits including Portia Zvavahera: Hidden Battles / Hondo dzakavanzika. This showcase is Portia Zvavahera’s first solo US exhibit and features multilayered compositions created by a variety of different materials including paint, printmaking, stencils, wax reliefs, linocut stamps and lace.

After we’ve soaked up all the inspiration, we’ll take a quick stroll over to Marcellino’s Seaport for some light bites and great conversation. Inspired by the “hidden battles” theme of the exhibit, we want you to share your own professional “behind-the-scenes” stories. It’s a chance to chat about the challenges you’ve faced, the lessons you’ve learned, and to celebrate the comebacks—big and small!
