Join us for an evening of candid reflection and creative provocation at the intersection of sustainability and experiential design – presented by the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) Atlanta chapter and hosted by Georgia Tech’s School of Industrial Design.

Though he co-chairs SEGD’s national Sustainability Committee, Joel Krieger—VP of Creative & Experience at Magic Leap—approaches sustainability not as a prescriptive voice, but as a perpetual student. In this special gathering Joel will share insights from his ongoing exploration—what he’s learning, where he’s challenged, and why he believes a beginner’s mindset is essential for meaningful progress.

Expect a lively, jargon-free conversation that questions assumptions and invites participation. Joel’s approach—curious, candid, and unafraid to challenge the status quo—will encourage us all to reimagine our role as designers in building a more sustainable world.

We’ll kick off with a short talk from Joel, then open it up for real talk with the room. Please see Venue section below for parking information.
