The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center + Roundhouse
The venue agrees to use good faith efforts to ensure that the venue complies in all material respects with the applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Participants shall identify in advance to SEGD who will relay to the venue any special needs of its attendees with a disability requiring accommodation by the venue.
Transit
The DuSable Museum – Roundhouse is located at 740 E 56th Pl, Chicago, IL 60637. There is a small parking lot at the museum as well as street parking. Rideshare is a recommended mode of transportation. American Sign Language (ASL)
We currently do not provide ASL interpretation services; however, they can be arranged upon request. If you need an interpreter for sessions or networking events, please contact us at least one week prior to the conference to ensure your needs are accommodated.
Captioning
Captioning will not be available for this event.
Sensory-Friendly Accommodations
A quiet, sensory-friendly room will be available for attendees who need a space to recharge. Access to this location can be arranged at the SEGD Xlab registration desk upon request.

Transportation to and from each tour is on your own.

Social Networking Mixer
The opening mixer on Wednesday, September 17 is at Experimental Station at 6100 S. Blackstone Ave. Chicago, IL 60637. The first level is ADA compliant. The second level can only be accessed by stairs. Transportation to and from the venue is on your own and can be accessed by car. Street parking is available.
The closing party on Thursday, September 18 is located at the DuSable Museum – Roundhouse. The Roundhouse is ADA accessible.
Covid-19 Information
Masking is welcome but not required at the SEGD Xlab Offsite Chicago. If you have any symptoms or if you should be isolated, please do not attend the event.
