We are committed to ensuring the 2025 SEGD Wayfinding + Placemaking | 2025 Branded Environments is designed to be inclusive and accessible for all attendees. Below is detailed information regarding accessibility features, accommodations, and how to request specific services.
If you need special services or accommodations, please be sure to note that in your online registration. The event does not supply mobility equipment but will provide information on equipment rental.
Transit
Mandalay Bay Convention Center is located at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119 (map). Mandalay Bay Convention Center provides transportation suggestions here.
Mandalay Bay does not offer shuttle service. Shuttles are available at the airport and they drop off at all the major strip hotels. Mandalay Bay is usually either the very first drop off or the very last drop off.
The other option is a taxi, which costs around $25 for up to 5 people and will bring you directly to Mandalay Bay. Taxicabs are available outside on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-5. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers.
Shuttles generally cost $8 – $10 per person. Varieties of shuttle/limousine services are available at Harry Reid International Airport, and are located on the north and west sides of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-14.

Wheelchair Accessible
Mandalay Bay Convention Center is wheelchair accessible. Elevators are available to access all levels of the Convention Center.
Assistive Listening Devices
Please be sure to note in your online registration if you require special services due to a hearing impairment. Prior to the event, a team member will contact you to discuss any services needed.
Service Animals
As of March 15, 2011 only dogs are recognized as service animals (with the exception of miniature horses in a few cases). Aside from assisting the blind, deaf, and/or wheelchair bound guests, service dogs are also acceptable in assisting in calming a person with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Please contact Central Reservations at 855-788-6775 to let us know you will have a service animal.
Lactation Room
Please note that Mandalay Bay Convention Center does not provide a dedicated lactation room; however, special accommodations can be made upon request. Contact us at the registration counter (South Pacific registration desk) or Jennette@segd.org for assistance.
American Sign Language (ASL)
We currently do not provide ASL interpretation services; however, they can be arranged upon request. If you need an interpreter for sessions or networking events, please contact us at least one week prior to the conference to ensure your needs are accommodated.
Captioning

Sensory-Friendly Accommodations
A quiet, sensory-friendly room will be available for attendees who need a space to recharge. Access to this location can be arranged at the SEGD registration counter (South Pacific registration desk) upon request.
Tours and Mobility
The optional tours on Tuesday, April 22 involve exploring several Las Vegas locations. Transportation to and from each location is on your own.

COVID-19 Information
Masking is welcome but not required at the SEGD events. If you have any symptoms or if you should be isolated, please do not attend the event.
