Cooper Carry Shapes Centreville Bank Stadium’s Fan Experience

A great game day begins before fans reach their seats. At Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Cooper Carry’s Experiential Graphic Design studio helps visitors navigate while connecting them to the venue’s identity.
Home to Rhode Island FC, the 10,500-seat soccer stadium opened in 2025. Cooper Carry partnered with LaBella Associates and JCJ Architecture to design its experiential graphics, signage, and wayfinding system.
The design draws on Pawtucket’s mill architecture, exposed steel, and working waterfront. As a result, bold typography and utilitarian finishes reflect the city’s industrial character. References to the Seekonk River also connect the graphics to the stadium’s riverfront setting.
Throughout the venue, a clear information hierarchy guides fans from exterior plazas through concourses to seating and amenities. Large section markers establish key destinations, while smaller directional signs help visitors find their next stop. Together, these elements support intuitive navigation during a busy match day.
Meanwhile, food and beverage branding extends the visual system into concession areas. Graphics in staff and operations spaces carry that consistent approach behind the scenes.
The project illustrates how wayfinding and local storytelling can work together across a sports venue. For fans, those details help shape the experience from arrival onward.
