Event Strategy Group and Fivestone Studios Create Lenovo Immersive AI Lobby Experience

Event Strategy Group and Fivestone Studios have helped Lenovo reopen its U.S. Executive Briefing Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a new lobby experience designed around immersive content and AI-powered innovation.
The Lenovo immersive AI lobby experience welcomes customers into a future-focused environment that highlights Lenovo’s leadership in AI, infrastructure, and sustainable technology. Working closely with Lenovo, Event Strategy Group (ESG) and Fivestone Studios created a suite of digital and interactive experiences that support storytelling, brand engagement, and customer connection.
At the center of the transformed lobby is a custom digital ecosystem. The experience includes a cloud-based content management system, a library of bespoke ambient animations, and three next-generation AI Journey Accelerator photobooths. Together, these elements help Lenovo customers explore their own AI transformation journeys in memorable and meaningful ways.
The results of the collaboration are featured in this case study video:
As the lead experiential agency, ESG partnered with Fivestone to develop an environment that makes a bold first impression. At the same time, the space remains flexible for a wide range of audiences. The finished lobby blends elegant design, high-performance technology, and interactive storytelling.
“Executive Briefing Centers are where brands communicate both vision and value,” said Sarah Babb, Creative Director at ESG. “We wanted to create an experience that feels alive, one that welcomes visitors, showcases Lenovo’s breadth, and sparks conversations about what is possible with AI. The collaboration with Fivestone allowed us to bring that vision to life with both creativity and technical precision.”
To activate the EBC’s expansive LED wall, Fivestone developed a custom content management system. The system supports real-time playback across multiple layers of video, text, and imagery. As a result, Lenovo teams can curate playlists, update messaging, and tailor content for each visiting group.
In addition, Fivestone created an animation library using Maxon Cinema4D, Redshift, Adobe After Effects, and Rive. The animations reflect Lenovo’s brand ethos: innovative, human, and purposeful. Minimal forms, sophisticated textures, and dynamic light and shadow reinforce themes of sustainability and forward momentum. Testing on Nanolumens hardware in Atlanta also confirmed the need for a 10-bit color workflow to achieve the intended visual fidelity.
ESG and Fivestone built on the success of the AI Journey Accelerator at Lenovo Tech World ’24. They brought the experience into the EBC lobby through three standalone AI-powered photobooths. Each kiosk runs entirely on Lenovo ThinkStation P8 workstations. Therefore, the experience delivers fast, secure, on-premise AI processing.
Visitors begin with a brief questionnaire exploring their familiarity with AI, organizational readiness, and business opportunities. Their responses help Lenovo understand each guest’s AI maturity level. Then, the system generates a personalized, branded AI portrait that demonstrates Lenovo’s processing power in real time.
“Rive bridged the gap between design and content management, enabling rich, animated experiences that could be customized and maintained without compromising creative quality,” said Justin Eslinger, Director of Creative Technology and Innovation at Fivestone.
The project brought together a multidisciplinary team across ESG, Fivestone, Lenovo, AVI-SPL, and Nanolumens. ESG provided strategic leadership and client alignment. Meanwhile, Fivestone delivered creative direction, animation, software development, and technical innovation.
“Like Fivestone, ESG shares a commitment to delivering exceptional work at both high quality and high velocity,” said Traylor Woodall, Executive Creative Director at Fivestone Studios. “This project required deep collaboration, rapid problem-solving, and a shared belief in what immersive storytelling can accomplish.”
Through immersive content, AI-powered engagement, and adaptable digital tools, the Lenovo U.S. Executive Briefing Center now offers visitors a dynamic introduction to the company’s technology vision. The project also shows how experiential design can connect people to complex ideas through space, story, and interaction.
