I am an emerging illustrator and graphic designer with a passion for interpretive exhibit design. As an avid lover of all the natural world, I want to design panels and exhibits that ignite sparks of curiosity and inspire visitors to learn about the natural wonders surrounding them. I specialize in creating scientifically accurate, vibrant, lively illustrations of animals, plants, and environments, using both traditional and digital media. Birds are my greatest obsession — my lifelong hobbies are bird-watching and creating watercolor paintings of the birds I’ve seen.

Ask me about

PLEASE ask me about my favorite bird, the Cassowary!

My super power is

Identifying bird species – it’s one of those things that once you learn it, you can never turn it off.

I'm looking for

New opportunities, full-time positions, and freelance work in exhibit design

What I love about experience design

I love everything about my job in the museum design industry. I feel so blessed to be able to contribute to projects that pique curiosity, whether it’s through learning about nature, history, scientific innovation, or anything else. I love that I get to see the designs I create on the computer come to life in the fabrication shop, and I love how each member of our team contributes vital components to creating the finished immersive exhibit. I love how each project allows me to explore different colors, typefaces, and design styles, instead of being beholden to the style guide of a single corporation.

Best piece of advice I've ever heard

“Today was a difficult day. Tomorrow will be better.” I find my Mom’s mantra to be true, and if it’s not, I just need to wait one more day.
