I’m up to 35 years in the Visual Effects field, concentrating on 3D effects and compositing. I’ve worked on a variety of projects ranging from feature films and TV commercials, to video games and theater production.
I’m excited by the trend toward realtime rendering using Unreal Engine as well as Artificial Intelligence. It seems clear that this is where we are headed, and I for one am excited to take this leap! It’s an exciting time to be a visual content creator!

For 25 years I’ve been teaching film making and visual effects at colleges and universities in the Tri-State region.

Recently, I had the honor to produce and be VFX Supervisor on the Hayden Planetarium space show “Worlds Beyond Earth.”

The best advice I’ve received is to “Be kind, and be useful”…people will want to have you around.

Where I find Inspiration

I find inspiration in the joy audiences get from watching films, walking through museums and experiencing art in general.
