As RAA Principal and Director of RAA's Berlin Studio Tim's practice encompasses masterplanning, architectural and exhibition design for museums, visitor centers, memorials, parks, and corporate experience centers.

Recent projects include:

– design of museum exhibitions for the new National Museum of the Economy in the Museum of History in Stockholm, Sweden, Naturkundemuseum Schloss Rosenstein in Stuttgart , the permanent exhibitions of the Museum of Asian Art and Ethnology Museum and Museum of the History of the Site in Humboldt Forum in Berlin Germany; the permanent exhibitions of the Weltmuseum Wien, in Vienna, Austria; Museum of Josef Pilsudski in Sulejówek, Poland ; „Ting: Technology and Democracy” at the Norwegian National Museum of Technology Olso, Norway; the Smithsonian’s Arctic Studies Center in Anchorage Alaska; the Natural History Museum of Utah; Grand Teton National Park Visitor Center Jackson Hole Wyoming; Science Heritage Museum in Philadelphia .

– institutional and interpretive masterplans for the „Evolutioneum“ Centre for Natural History in Hamburg, “Biotopia” formerly the Museum Natural History and Life Sciences of Bavaria in Munich , the Jewish Museum Berlin, the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, Pennsylvania Academy of Natural Sciences, Los Angeles State Historic Park, Federal Hall National Memorial in New York.

– design of corporate experiences including the Intel Museum in Santa Clara, Corning Museum of Glass in New York, SC Johnson’s Project Honor, Eaton Center in Cleveland and the Ford Foundation’s Headquarters in New York City.

He is also currently leading the the design for several projects in Germany including the permanent exhibitions of the Archeological Centre at Petrihaus in Berlin, Memorial and Learning Site in Wolfsburg, Roman-Germanic Archeology Museum in Mainz, the Museum of Franconia in Würzburg and the Focke Museum in Bremen, the Museum of the Viking Age in Olso, Norway and his newest commission is The Whale which will be realized in Andenes, Norway.

His academic work includes the creation of the Museum Design Lab, a graduate seminar/ lab on museums at The Parsons School of Design in collaboration with the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and a Visiting Associate Professor at Pratt Institute’s Exhibition Design Intensive (EDI) Program.

He serves on numerous international competition and design prize juries.
