Join the award-winning team behind the Museum of Tolerance’s Social Lab for a guided exploration of how experiential design creates environments of trust in challenging contexts.
This tour demonstrates how integrating architecture, lighting, and interactive media facilitates difficult conversations within a space designed for psychological safety and mutual respect. Led by the original design team from Yazdani Studio, Unified Field, and HLB Lighting Design, you will:
- See how translucent architectural elements physically embody the concept of transparency, creating visual connections that foster trust between visitors sharing the space
- Experience installations designed to physically shift viewpoints, challenging visitors to see beyond single narratives
- Discover how interactive elements guide visitors from self-reflection to collective dialogue, modeling civil discourse in an era of polarization.
