SEGD Charlotte Chapter | The Bowl at Ballantyne Walking Tour
Please join us in a walking tour of The Bowl at Ballantyne
Charlotte SEGD Community – Please join us on Thursday, October 24th at 5:00 PM for a Walking Tour of The Bowl at Ballantyne.
Northwood, a vertically-integrated real estate company, partnered with renowned experts – LandDesign, Sasaki, Cooper Carry and Design Resource Group on Ballantyne Reimagined, a vision to evolve the 535-acre Ballantyne® campus as a great destination to enjoy life in a high-quality urban community.
This once-in-a-lifetime redevelopment has transformed a public golf course within a suburban office park into a thoughtfully designed, dynamic mixed-use center, The Bowl at Ballantyne™. The project will create a walkable, urban attraction with something for everyone conveniently located in the heart of the Carolinas.
Phase 1 of The Bowl will include up to 1,000 multifamily units, 300,000 square feet of retail, and 200 hotel rooms. Phase Two, which is years out, could include an additional 1,000 multifamily units and 300 townhomes, and 400,000 square feet of office. A third phase could occur with significant infrastructure improvements, including three potential light rail stations throughout campus.
Ballantyne is setting a new standard for “place” – for life made better and more manageable. From a six-acre Stream Park to a vibrant dining, retail and entertainment district at The Bowl, the Ballantyne® campus is transforming into a mixed-use center while continuing to be an economic driver for the entire region.
