SEGD Announces Promotion of Liz Griswold to Director of Education and Experience
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Liz Griswold from Special Projects Director to Director of Education and Experience at SEGD. In her new role, Liz will develop and manage the delivery of meaningful educational content and experiences that align with SEGD’s vision, mission, and values. She will oversee professional development, best practices, and help curate programming and content for SEGD’s virtual and in-person events to ensure programming is effective and relevant to our members. She will work closely with the CEO to develop and execute educational plans that align with SEGD’s goals for strategic growth.
Liz will be at the forefront of SEGD’s efforts to provide educational outreach, ensuring that our members receive the highest quality resources and support. She will be the point person for our annual conference, in-person summits, and online events, working to support SEGD in delivering impactful and memorable experiences.
With a longstanding commitment as an active professional member since 2005, Liz joined the SEGD staff in 2022. In 2017, she co-founded the SEGD Raleigh Chapter, serving as Chapter Co-Chair until 2022 and receiving the 2022 SEGD Chapter Chair Award. Liz also co-chaired the SEGD Emerging Experiential Professions from 2020 to 2022. Before joining SEGD as a staff member, she led the Experiential Graphic Design markets for two different A/E firms.
Liz holds a B.S. in Graphic Arts from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, with a concentration in public relations and a minor in English. Her extensive background and dedication to the field make her an invaluable asset to SEGD.
