Leah is a Senior Experiential Designer at HOK Toronto, and adjunct professor at Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Experiential Design. She currently serves as the SEGD Chapter Chair Liaison Assistant, and previously was co-chair of the San Francisco Chapter.
As part of HOK’s Experience Design practice, Leah creates environments that feel intuitive, inclusive, and accessible for the people who use them. She combines strategic thinking, creative design, and information architecture to build systems that empower both end users and project teams. From a single line of braille to the navigation of multilingual international airports, Leah’s expertise in wayfinding strategy, design, and implementation centres the lived experience of every user. She is a strong advocate for the end user, inclusive design, and brand integrity. Leah extends her impact beyond projects by teaching the next generation of designers, and by serving in volunteer leadership roles within the global design community.

Wayfinding and accessibility.
My super power is
Information architecture and design systems.
Best piece of advice I've ever heard
Be a sponge. I spent summers between design school semesters as a package design intern, designing brands and packages for global brands like Kraft and Unilever. My Creative Director gave me the best advice: be a sponge. Soak up all the knowledge and experiences both as an intern and student, but don’t stop there. No matter where you are in your career or life, there’s always more to learn.
