Terry’s environmental graphic design projects have spanned multiple markets including Corporate Workplaces, Education, Healthcare, and Aviation. She loves to collaborate with clients as well as architects, interior designers, and engineers alike to achieve the best possible experience for the end users.
Terry received her BFA degree in Interdisciplinary Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, MO. She also attended the prestigious Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH) in her hometown of Miami, FL. On a daily basis, Terry uses her fine arts background and knowledge of materials and building processes to develop creative solutions to design issues.
At the beginning of her career, Terry worked for advertising and marketing agencies for several years before discovering a love for environmental graphics while working on retail store exhibits. Her experience in advertising taught her the importance of narrative when creating branding materials. Regardless of the project, the first step should always be identifying your audience. Terry’s mantra is, “It’s less important deciding what you’re going to say, than who you’re going to say it to.” The ability to understand the perspectives of end-users has only enriched the design solutions Terry presents for the built environment.
Terry’s other creative capacities have ranged from product design, interactive web and app design, video production, and exhibition displays. As technology develops and contributes to environmental design and wayfinding techniques, Terry is excited to apply her versatile knowledge to the subject.
An avid environmentalist, it’s important to Terry that ecological impact is considered on every project–whether it’s motivating for LEED or Fitwel certification to a building, or utilizing sustainable materials.

Terry also has a second, full-time job: parenting her young son, Charlie–who is her proudest design accomplishment to this date. Her role as a mother has only reinforced her commitment to designing a better, more beautiful, inclusive world.
