Genevieve Tyack

Genevieve Tyack is an experiential designer and founder of Community Studios, a Vancouver-based practice focused on wayfinding, branded environments, and exhibition design. With over 15 years of experience, she explores how we move through, understand, and claim space.

Her work considers wayfinding not simply as navigation, but as an expression of identity, culture, and care. Through research, engagement, and collaboration, she creates intuitive systems that make spaces more legible, accessible, and connected to their communities.

Genevieve works closely with architects, interior designers, planners, and organizations to integrate clarity, narrative, and visual language into the built environment, creating places where people can not only find their way, but feel a sense of belonging.
