Xibitz (Grand Rapids, Mich.) partnered with Lord Cultural Resources on the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The project team conducted four visioning workshops with the institution and about 70 stakeholders, developing an interpretive plan and concept design revolving around themes of freedom, immigration, human agency, and culture and identity.

The firm also worked with Lord Cultural Resources and Taylor Studios to design, develop, and install exhibits in three new galleries at the North Dakota Heritage Center of the State Historical Society of North Dakota. The expansion will use the latest in visitor interpretive techniques, employ inventive media, and establish a new roster of public and educational programs.  The galleries will open over the next year.
