2018 SEGD Management for Designers

According to the 2017 Skills Survey, firm leaders want their staff to be trained in Professional Practice Core Competencies, such as project management. They also stressed that Professional Practice Core Competencies were the set of skills that would make the biggest difference to their firms profitability. These skills were also considered the most important skills for designers to develop as they went from mid-level designers to senior designers and onto design leaders. We heard you.

The 2018 SEGD Management for Designers event, April 27 in Chicago, will provide a valuable introduction for your staff to some of the Professional Practice Core Competencies. Designed for mid-level designers who are moving into management roles and senior-level staff, this one-day event will provide valuable training for your design team, making them an even bigger asset to your firm.
