2016 SEGD Acadmic Summit is hosted by SVC

SEGD has issued a Call for Papers for the Summit and the deadline for submission of extended abstracts is March 4, 2016. Members of SEGD’s Academic Task Force will evaluate the abstracts and the authors of selected papers will be invited to present their work at the Summit. Authors will be notified April 8 and full manuscripts with supporting documentation and images will be due on May 20, 2016.
In addition to being presented at the Summit, the selected papers will be published in the 2016 issue of SEGD’s academic research journal Communication + Place. The peer-reviewed journal was launched in 2015 as a venue for sharing the design research work of academics, students, practitioners and researchers focused on Experiential Graphic Design.
For the 2016 Summit and journal publication, SEGD is focusing its lens on research and curriculum development related to integration of digital technology, user-centric interactive experiences and experimentation in Experiential Graphic Design.
